OUR PROGRAMMES
Our vision is for a society where every young person can thrive in life, beyond just exams. We want them to feel empowered and make a positive impact on the world around them, even when things are constantly changing.
We believe that achieving this vision is a shared responsibility. Parents, employers, and people in our communities must come together and work hand-in-hand to support young people and schools. It’s important that we all play a role in helping them succeed.
1. Education Programme Building Future Opportunities
We believe every young person deserves the chance to succeed, regardless of their background or circumstances. Our Education Programme helps young people build confidence, improve attainment, and develop the skills they need for future education, training, and employment. We provide:- Tutoring in Maths, English, and Science
- Online learning support for those with limited access to educational resources
- Structured academic support that improves confidence, progress, and long-term opportunity
2. Feeding the Vulnerable Programme – Immediate Crisis Support
This is our frontline response to hardship in the community.
We provide food support to individuals and families who are facing food insecurity, financial crisis, or homelessness-related vulnerability.
Our support includes:- Food parcels for individuals and households in need
- Food provision to shelters and community settings
- Delivery in partnership with volunteers and local organisations to reach those most at risk
This programme provides constant relief in times of need, ensuring that no one in our community is left without access to essential food support.
It is one of our most vital services, responding directly to rising cost-of-living pressures and increasing levels of deprivation in Luton.
This work is sustained through donations, partnerships, and community generosity. Every contribution helps put food directly into the hands of someone in need
3. Community Cohesion Programme – Stronger, Safer Communities
We believe strong communities are built through inclusion, connection, and understanding, where everyone feels they belong and is treated with respect.
Our Community Cohesion Programme helps reduce isolation, strengthen relationships, and build a more connected and resilient Luton. It also supports young people to make positive life choices by reducing the risk of harm from negative influences, including gangs and knife-related violence, through early support, education, and positive engagement.
We do this by:- Supporting social inclusion and reducing isolation across the community
- Working with schools, businesses, and local organisations to support young people and raise awareness
- Providing youth engagement and positive activities that build confidence and encourage positive choices
- Promoting education around respect, safety, and the impact of violence, including gangs and knife crime prevention where needed
- Promoting a culture of “acceptance of all, not just tolerance”
This strand focuses on building stronger, safer communities where people feel supported, connected, and valued. By supporting this work, donors and partners help create safer neighbourhoods and a stronger, more united community in Luton.
